The community service club, Peer Assistant Leaders (PALs), at Sandburg Middle School is made up of 7^th and 8^th graders who are available to assist students on campus with everyday conflicts. We help students see both sides of the story, listen to each other with full attention, and utilize confidentiality.

PALs meets weekly to learn a variety of skills including: active listening, conflict resolution, decision-making, and understanding and expression of feelings.

Sandburg students can request to meet with a PAL by filling out a slip that is found in every classroom. PALs strive to serve the school by creating a more positive school climate.
